SCRIMMAGES ARE UNDERWAY.......
Submitted By Jack Pixley on Sunday, November 29, 2020
Hello Frontenac Flyer Families,

Teams are rostered and no changes are allowed.   Rosters can be more than 9 players and a goalie but you can only dress 9 skaters and a goalie for scrimmages.

We will update scheduling for January later in December and likely take a break from scrimmages for a couple weeks.  Stay tuned.

Thank you

A couple of key things to remember: Stone Mills only allows 30 players/coaches/volunteers/refs maximum on the ice at one time. 50 people max in the building must be maintained at all times.  There could be times when 1 parent per child isn't possible due to numbers.  We may be adjusting policies/procedures to make sure we all do our part to stay safe and keep within allowable restrictions.

Keep in mind these scrimmages will look a lot different from what we are used to.  There has been a lot of planning to keep things in a 50 players max per league under current restrictions/OMHA rules.  These games will start either 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 coaches can decide.  No 5 on 5 is allowed at this time.

If our season is cut short due to rising Covid numbers we will issue pro rated refunds base on ice usage (any cancellations here on out now must include a $100 admin fee to cover administration and planning costs).

Remember if you don't need to be in the rink please wait outside for your player(s).

Sign in sheets must be signed by spectators and players coaches hand in attendance sheets after each session as well.  By bringing your player to hockey you are signing off on the following document, answering 'YES' to all questions listed below in the OMHA/OHF Screening Questionnaire.

Currently we are in Stage 3b.  There is a new OHF udpated plan to Stage 3 and it's policies.  Slower approach being taken now with Covid numbers rising.
