Hello Frontenac Families,
All of our team's seasons are now officially underway! A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved in getting this season rolling, from coaches/trainers, team managers scheduling games, FHM board members working tirelessly behind the scenes, and especially all of our parents and players for their support, commitment, and for making Frontenac home.
Below is an update on some of the exciting things happening around the rink.

Jax Strong
Our Flyers teams and families raised over $500 for a player from the Brighton U13 LL team who is facing a difficult challenge. A large sign filled with player messages was also sent to show our support.
More details are in the Facebook post from ICHL Coordinator Melissa Shorrock, who led this effort.
This shows the compassion and sportsmanship that define our Frontenac hockey community.
Coach and Parent Conduct
A reminder to maintain respectful behaviour toward referees, players, and coaches.
Past issues have led to officials resigning and even game cancellations. Please remember — it’s a game, and we play for fun. Let’s all help keep the rink positive and welcoming.

Merch Day
PromoSmart will host another Merch Day at FCA once inventory is restocked.

Frontenac Proshop
Our Referee-in-Chief Willie Wilson has the Frontenac Proshop fully stocked and ready. From skate sharpening to gear repairs and nearly any accessory you may need, Willie has you covered.
Willie posts Proshop hours both on the sign in the Proshop door and weekly on our Facebook group. Check out the Frontenac Proshop the next time you're at the rink.
Goalie Equipment
This year FMH has purchased over $3K in goalie gear to provide equipment to our IP, U9 , and U11 LL teams. We are short goalies in these age groups, and are hoping to grow more goalies this year.
As a reminder, all full time goalies at FMH get 50% registration reimbursement near the end of the season. We are also planning our next free goalie clinics, stay tuned for more info on these.

No IP hockey on October 31 — enjoy a fun and safe Halloween!

Don’t forget — all members can post in our Facebook group. We love seeing photos and updates from games and tournaments!
Raffle
Each player receives three $25 raffle tickets as part of registration. These will be distributed by your team managers as soon as they are available.
Sell them or enter your own name — completed tickets go in the raffle box by the equipment room.
The draw takes place in January, with six $1,000 prizes up for grabs!
