Cross Border Clash Champs
The Frontenac Flyers Pewee Rep team travelled to the Baltimore area for the Cross Border Wars Clash tournament this past weekend. (Submitted by proud coaches Brad Barton, Daryl Mather & Dave Foulds)

They started out strong even while missing a top defencemen Lucas Thompson. They played strong hockey and some of the best hockey they've played all year ending up with a 3-0 record in the round robin earning them a spot in the 'A' final. Unfortunately this was with the lose of another top player Liam Walsh who suffered an injury that kept him out of the final game. He will be ok though with some time. This gave the players motivation to win the championship game. Beau Reade and Nolan Rexe came out to the 'A' finals on short notice and helped us go on to win the 'A' championships with a 4-0 win over Deep River. Parents and coaches are very proud of our boys and how they through all the adversity and they kept plugging along to victory. Very proud moment and great way to wrap up the season.  Pewee reps would also like to congratulate the Novice Reps on their All Ontario 'CC' Championship- great season and great hockey to watch. Good work. (Submitted by proud coaches Brad Barton, Daryl Mather & Dave Foulds)
