Welcome back to all of our returning players, families and friends and Welcome to all of our new Frontenac Minor Hockey players & families.

With our Frontenac Flyers Rep games already underway and our House League games and practices starting this week we've got lots of information and updates to share with you.



FUNDRAISING - Frontenac Minor Hockey Association has many exciting changes and ideas and they are all made possible through fundraising, tournaments and events. Below please find some of our upcoming Fundraising Events and be sure to contribute and help support Minor Hockey

    FLYERS FAN GEAR - New this year - We have teamed up with PG Sports to offer Frontenac     Flyers Apparel to our players, fans & families. We will be selling Frontenac Flyers toques, hats,     mini-sticks, golf shirts & window/bumper stickers. These orders can be placed on-line through     our website by clicking HERE or you can find printed forms at the rink. See our website or     display in the rink for more information.

    HOLIDAY WREATHS & PLANTERS - We are once again pleased to have teamed up with CC     Farms to offer our annual Holiday Wreath & Planters sales. These gorgeous, fresh, hand-made     Wreaths & Planters are great for your home or to sell to family & friends. All orders are to be     collected by your Team Managers and the team that sells the most wreaths (Dollar Amount)     will win a team Pizza Party! Orders are due Saturday November 18th and wreaths & planters     will be delivered to Frontenac Community Arena on Saturday December 2nd. See POSTER for     more information or ask you team manager.

    TEAM FUNDRAISERS - Many of our teams will be hosting their own fundraising events so be     sure to check Facebook & Twitter and our website and help spread the word.

FLYERS SEASON BEGINS - Many of our house league teams have been made and many will be starting games and practices. Be sure to check our website Calendar for ALL games, practices and clinics. We strongly recommend Subscribing to your children(s) team calendar. This allows for instant updates, cancellations or schedule modifications. DEVELOPMENT
- Frontenac Minor Hockey takes pride in developing our young players. New this year we are excited to run practices with built-in Power Skating and Goalie Development lessons. Every 3 - 4 weeks during your regularly scheduled practices we will be providing Instructor led Power Skating & Goalie Development sessions which teaches the proper skating & development techniques to increase the players efficiency and effectiveness and become more powerful skaters and goaltenders.

PICTURE DAYS
- Individual & Team photos will take place the last week of October during regularly scheduled practices. Forms & Payment will be completed and collected during photo day. Stay tuned for more information.

FLYERS APPAREL - New this year ALL Frontenac Minor Hockey House League Players will receive a free pair of Hockey Socks. We have also purchased brand new sets of Jerseys for Bantam House League and all Tyke and IP Players are being outfitted with new Jerseys as well. We have also partnered again with McDonalds to participate in the McAtom program. This program supplies jerseys, socks and prizes for all Atom level players.

WEBSITE - Our website is always full of lots of information, updates and events. We recently paired with OMHA (Ontario Minor Hockey League) to add their banner to our website. This banner offers quick and easy access to many useful OMHA links, schedules, updates and has a wealth of information for coaches, players and parents. Be sure to check it out. RINKS TO LINKS GOLF TOURNAMNET - Frontenac Minor Hockey Association is proud that we have been able to offer affordable hockey to our youth and not have to raise our registration fees for many years. This and many other programs are made possible because of all of the fundraising efforts from our hockey families. One of our main fundraising events is the annual Rinks to Links Golf Tournament which takes place in September. This year we are proud to announce that this event was once again a huge success and all because of those that donated and/or participated.
