Flyers U15 LL1 Team take the Gold in Gan
Submitted By admin on Mon 03 07, 22
It was a hard fought season for the U15 LL1 team but their hard work, team play and determination paid off earning them the A Champs against Gananoque this past weekend

The Frontenac Flyers U15 LL1 team coached by Trevor Ritchie took the win as A Champs in their division. It was a hard fought, back and forth battle the entire game. Everyone on the ice for both teams played with heart and the desire to win.
It was a real nail biter with Gan taking the lead early on, but through team work and determination the Flyers pulled back.
The end of the third period left us in a tie and then continued as a scoreless period of overtime.
It then became a true goaltenders battle in a nerve wracking shootout in which we dominated at both ends with Rory Ritchie shutting down both of their top shooters and Ryder Mallett and Nate Erler scoring both of their shots, taking the best of 3 out of 2 and the A Champ title.
A true comeback story this team has been.

Congratulations!
