This year has blown by. It has been fun. It is incredible to come to the rink and watch our athletes out there competing. As my kids enter their final year(s) of hockey, I get especially nostalgic watching the U8 and U9s play, and feeling the energy in the packed stands. So much fun!! Enjoy it. It goes quick
With the exception of year-end tournaments (Warrior, Kids4Kids), the season is now complete with the exception of our U9, U15 and U18 Rep Teams who are still competing for a chance to go to the EOMHL & OMHA Championships.
A couple of administrative points to help us wrap up the year.
THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
Community hockey does not magically happen. My best guess is that we have approx 100 parent volunteers operating behind the scenes pulling everything together. FMH Executive, FMH Board, Coaches, Managers, Bench Staff.
We have a pretty great thing at Frontenac and it is our wonderful parent group, in particular our Coaches and Bench Staff, that deserve a tremendous amount of credit.
As the season winds down, please thank your coaches. They have spent their time and energy trying to bring a wonderful hockey season for your kids
ROCK THE RINK
This is a new event replacing our AGM. The first part of the evening will be FMH awards and recognition, the second part of the evening will be an adult-only shaker.
Can you please have your managers canvass your teams and collect $20 per couple ($10 pp). Once complete you can send the list of people and $ to myself. Alternatively, families can etransfer $ to our online account [email protected]. Please put their names in the subject/comment line

Unlike the past 3 years, all U11, U13, U15 and U18 Local League Jerseys need to be returned this year. Please make arrangements to turn them into Dale Sagar (
[email protected]). We are using them to replenish our Jersey Stock
GOALIE EQUIPMENT
All borrowed Goalie Equipment must be returned ASAP. We will be using them for our 24 March Intro to Goalie clinic. Please make arrangements to turn them into Dale Sagar (

I will be sending out an email to all families who signed up for year end development this week. There are still a couple U15, U11 spots. We have also added an intro to goalie clinic on Sunday 24 March. (An email has been sent to all U9 and below coaches)
