REGISTRATION CURRENTLY CLOSED
Submitted By Liz Bigelow on Tuesday, June 30, 2020
FMH registration is closed currently - we can't accept payment at this time

We will reopen registration when we can accept payment.  Still some uncertainties at this time.   As of June 1st we can no longer accept payments set out by the Ontario Hockey Federation and will hold any money collected, prior to June 1st, for the upcoming season in trust.  Hockey may look a bit different next season but we are confident a season of some sort will occur.

As we all know things are functioning a little differently for everyone lately. The same goes for Frontenac Minor Hockey.

We have had to postpone out Annual General Meeting. The current Exec is moving forward with Rep coaching interviews and have held fees for next season.  However in the meantime we wanted to take the time to recognize some of our very own by awarding the following awards:

JIM STINSON AWARD(S)

This award is presented at the end of each season to one player from each ICHL division (Novice through Midget). It is given to the player nominated by their coach, who best exemplifies the true spirit of hockey; hard work, sportsmanship, leadership, commitment and having fun.
Congrats to:

Novice - Cain Hill
Atom - Harrison Kenward
Peewee - Carson Crawford
Bantam - Harrison Sargeant
Midget - Kirsten Hasler

HEART AWARD
The Heart Award is presented to a FMHA member who truly is generous with their time and efforts for the association for the pure love of the game and desire to help out
This award went to Coach Mike Hurren

SCOTT MUIR MEMORIAL AWARD
This award is presented to a volunteer in the Atom division who exemplifies the spirit of hockey.
This award was given to Coach Anthony Brash

Although we are all keeping our distance, FMHA is hard at work behind the scenes preparing for yet another successful Minor Hockey Season.

If you will be in need of financial support/help this year please reach out and let us know.  We obviously don't want to see any kids not able to play.

Obviously an abrupt end to the season for the Peewee Rep team.  Team had earned a spot in the Finals vs the Ilderton Jets.  After playing at the International Silverstick in January both teams were anxious to play the final series.
